On February 10th, 2011 Samuel S. Marr became President of the Toronto Lawyers Association. The Toronto Lawyers Association was established in 1885 and represents interests of its 3,000 members.


 

TLA spearheads drive to bring mock trials to elementary students

The TLA is leading an initiative with the Ontario Justice Education Network to bring mock trials into elementary schools. The pilot project will get underway in the New Year which will feature a slander trial with characters from the children’s book, Hansel and Gretel.
