Keith M. Landy

Keith M. Landy is the senior and founding partner in the Toronto law firm of Landy, Marr LLP. Keith is certified as a specialist in civil litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada. He received his certification in 1989, and was recertified in 1994, 1999 and 2004.

He has practiced before all levels of Courts in Ontario, including before trial and appellate courts, and before The Supreme Court of Canada. In addition, Keith has appeared before many administrative tribunals, including the Ontario and Canadian Human Rights Commissions, The Law Society of Upper Canada, The Workers' Safety and Insurance Board of Ontario, The Financial Services Commission of Ontario and many other tribunals.

Samuel S. Marr

Samuel S. Marr is well respected in his professional practice and handles a diverse range of litigation cases with extensive experience in insurance and disability claims, personal injuries actions Class actions, real estate litigation, wrongful dismissal actions, mortgage enforcement, condominium litigation, construction lien and Commercial Tenancy disputes. Sam is certified as a specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Sam has been lead counsel in several class actions, and has had carriage of a significant number of large litigation matters involving multiple parties, multiple counsel, and large monetary claims.

In 2011 Sam was the President of the Toronto Lawyers Association. The Toronto Lawyers Association was established in 1885 and represents the interests of its 3,000 members.

Vadim Kats received his J.D. from the University of Windsor in 1998 and was called to the bar in 2000.  Vadim has appeared as counsel at the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and before various administrative tribunals.

David Fogel

David Fogel

David joined Landy Marr Kats LLP in 2009 and became an associate lawyer in 2010 upon his call to the Ontario Bar. David’s practice is focused on the client, searching for cost effective resolutions to their problems. David has experience in civil and commercial litigation and has been involved in several class action matters.

David has appeared as counsel at the Superior Court of Justice.

Anna Wong

Anna Wong

In 2005, Anna Wong graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. (Honours) in Media, Information & Technoculture and Women's Studies as the gold medallist for performing at the very top of her graduating class. Anna also completed a M.A. in Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario. She worked as a journalist for a year prior to entering law school.

Anna received her J.D. from Queen's University in 2009. During law school, Anna spent a summer studying international business law at the Herstmonceux Castle in England. Anna was an editor for Queen's Law Journal, a volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada, and a tutor for the faculty of law. As a caseworker for Queen's Legal Aid Clinic, Anna represented clients at administrative hearings and before the Small Claims Court. She also competed at several moots, including the Canadian Corporate/Securities Law Moot, where her team won Top Factum and Anna was personally ranked among the top 15 oralists. Anna won numerous awards as a law student, including the Law Society of Upper Canada/Osgoode Society Award of Excellence.

Brian Pak

Chris Scotchmer

Kit Scotchmer is an associate practicing civil and commercial litigation. Salme Ahmadian

Salme Ahmadian is our current Articling Student. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor in 2012. Prior to studying law, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University.

During her legal studies, Salme was an active member of her community, volunteering as a law student at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic, acting as a caseworker for the Community Legal Aid in Windsor, and coordinating workshops for the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF).

In her second year, she gained valuable legal experience working as a summer student for a boutique law firm in downtown Toronto. Prior to beginning her legal studies, Salme worked as a teacher for the Toronto District School Board. Beyond her studies, Salme speaks Farsi and French, and is currently working on her Spanish. She enjoys travelling, health and fitness, comedy and baking.
