Adel Mian joined the firm as associate after articling with the firm. Adel handles a diverse range of litigation files with a focus on personal injury and commercial litigation.
Adel has appeared on motions and has successfully conducted trials.
Adel obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School where he was an active member of the student community. He served as the law school’s ambassador, acted as a mentor and was an executive for the South Asian Law Students Association and the Muslim Law Students Association. Adel also founded and served as President of Osgoode Students Feed the Hungry, an organization that provides healthy meals to the City’s less fortunate.
While at law school, Adel provided pro bono legal services to residents of the Parkdale community and assisted self-represented litigants at the Toronto Small Claims Court.
Adel also volunteered his time towards a number of initiatives designed to strengthen the Muslim and Punjabi communities in the Greater Toronto Area.
For his community involvement, Adel was awarded the prestigious Legal & Literary Award at graduation.
Prior to law school, Adel obtained his B.A. (Honours) in Political Science from the University of Toronto, where he received the Gold Medal as the top student in his graduating class.
In addition to English, Adel also speaks French, Urdu and Punjabi.
