Bell Mobility Appeals Trial Decision

Bell Mobility is appealing the trial judge’s ruling that the company is liable to class members in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut who paid 911 fees without receiving any 911 operator services.

In particular, Bell Mobility seeks to overturn the decision of the trial judge that Bell Mobility breached the mobility service agreements with class members, and that it has been unjustly enriched. Bell Mobility also appeals the costs awarded to the Plaintiffs.

The appeal is set to be heard by the N.W.T. Court of Appeal on October 20 and 21, 2014, in Yellowknife.
